integrated unit

Yesterday Trish, Julie and I started to plan a transport unit for next term using the planner given by lesley form the PD. The unit will cover past, present and futre transport, so if anyone has any great resources that we might be able to used that would be helpful, websites or books they have seen that we could use.
While looking for stuff in teh internet, I came acorss this scope and sequence plan by Doveton North Primary School. If you check it out you wil lsee they use throughlines, essential questions, unit questions etc. http://www.dovetonnorth.vic.edu.au/scopeandsequence.htm Do you find this valuable?
